The privacy practices of this statement apply to websites owned and operated by J.J. Armstrong d/b/a “JJ Armstrong International Training and Consultancy”, “JJArmstrong.com” “JoinJJ.com” (“COMPANY,” “we” or “us”). the user agrees to the policies and procedures listed therein.

The policy is effective as of the ‘Update’ date listed at the bottom of this document. J.J. Armstrong websites may contain links to outside sites not controlled by J.J. Armstrong. These sites may maintain their own privacy policies and we have no control over or liability from their policies and procedures.

Why We Collect Information

First and foremost, JJArmstrong.com collects information to improve the services we provide and to present you with information and services that will interest you.

Use of Personal Information

Unless you voluntarily provide personal information for a specific purpose, we do not collect any personal information from you.

We do not do heatmaps nor analytics on our site. We do not sell your data or supply it to 3rd party advertisers.

Any cookies (which you can control the acceptance of via your browser settings) are only functional, essential cookies to login, pay or view the material.

If you choose to provide personal information during registration or when using our learning platform services, we use your personal information to provide you with particular products or services that you request.

Passwords

To use certain features of the Site, you will need a username and password, which you will receive through the Site’s registration process. You may not disclose your username or password to anyone else.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username, your password and your account at all times. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your username, password, or account.

OTHER INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND USE

Security Information

JJArmstrong.com stores all data using industry standard security devices, such as firewalls and encryption protocols, to safeguard against unauthorized access to our data. We have put in place reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures coupled with carefully developed security procedures to protect your information from loss, misuse or unauthorized alteration. When we ask for sensitive information, such as credit card numbers, we protect it through the use of the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol which provides encryption during transmission.

All sensitive information regarding payment of services through our website is collected by our secure third-party payment processing service (STRIPE), which has its own legal terms. You will be required to provide us and/or our Billing Service Provider with information regarding your credit card or other payment method. You represent and warrant that such information is true and that you are authorized to use the payment method.

We do not store and are unable to view any payment processing information you provide to STRIPE. In addition, we have put in place policies to restrict access to your information by the members of our client and support team.

Mailing List

We may send you promotional emails using our preferred mailing software where we collect and store your name and email. You can opt out of receiving our emails at any time.

Shopping Cart, Course Platform software etc.

Information you supply if you sign up will be shared with our shopping cart software and our learning management plugin for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order, which have their own legal terms and policies.

If you choose to supply your information and take one of our quizzes, our quiz plugin will also collect the information you supply.  If you use our chatbot to communicate with us, it will also collect the information you provide to it.

To process your quiz result or fulfill your request, these software solutions may be privy to automatically generated information like your IP address and device type.

Your participation, correspondence or business dealings with any third party found on or through our Site, regarding payment and delivery of specific goods and services, and any other terms, conditions, representations or warranties associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such third party.

You agree that COMPANY shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, or other matters of any sort incurred as the result of such dealings.

You agree to be financially responsible for all purchases made by you or someone acting on your behalf through the Site. You agree to use the Site and to purchase services or products through the Site for legitimate, non-commercial purposes only.

YOUR RIGHT TO CONTROL AND ACCESS YOUR INFORMATION

You have control over your personal information and how it is collected, used, and shared. For example, you have a right to:

  • Ask us to delete your data. You have a right to be forgotten and request your personal information on file be deleted by contacting us at terms@jjarmstrong.com
